Committees

2024 - No Committees are currently active

2023-06-01 :    The Committees that were put in place in 2022 are thanked for their invaluable input.  However, at the direction of Owners at the 2023 spring AGM, the hard work and planning that consumed the 2022 year in preparation for spring 2023 activities has been postponed to an as yet unknown future date.    The 2022-2023 Winter saw the most significant Ice damming we have seen in many years.   As a result the Board's efforts have been redirected to investigate and try to resolve this long standing issue as quickly as possible .... ideally before the 2023-24 winter season.

As this is an extremely aggressive timeline,  the Board has been focussed entirely on devising a plan that is achievable, effective as possible, and cost effective.   Committee work will hopefully resume when needed and when time permits.

2023-01-05 :   Happy New Year ! - In preparation for the spring AGM,  the committees are continuing to work towards updated plans and scheduling for work commencing in 2023 and beyond.

2022-09-21 :  There is an informal Town Hall Meeting scheduled for 05 October at the 7th Day Adventist Church on Pine House Drive from  7:00-8:30pm.  This is your opportunity for an informal question and answer discussion on the various committee findings.  Voting on the future maintenance work will take place at the Owners Meeting on 13 October at 6:30pm, also at the 7th Day Adventist Church on Pine House Drive from  7:00-8:30pm.     Please follow this Website for updates.

2022-08-30 :  Please watch for further communications regarding the Owners Meeting planned for 13 October where a summary of the findings of the committees noted above will be presented and followed with a vote to determine the course of action.

Thank you to all those who have volunteered their time, opinions, and expertise by getting involved in the democratic decision making process at Aspen Chase!   The Board of Directors wants to convey that your opinions and efforts are much appreciated !

2022-07-28 :  Several Committees have been or are in the process of being formed as follows :

While some of the committees are fully up and running others are not.  If you have an interest in volunteering, particular experience, or some ideas you'd like to suggest,  please contact the Board at its official email address :  AspenChaseCondos@gmail.com

Thank you for your support!

455 Club

Your bottles, cans and other recyclables that provide money back, are gratefully  accepted as a donation to the Aspen Chase 455 Club.  The money received is then used to purchase our poolside furniture and other pool amenities, and over the past few years, have greatly enhanced our lovely Aspen Chase pool!    For those who have contributed…. Thank you for your donation!   And for those who aren’t aware of this opportunity, and would like to contribute, we would welcome receiving your bottles, cans and other recyclables.

The process for donating is to leave your recyclables at the work shed any Wednesday afternoon between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.  At that time the shed door will be open and you can leave your bottles and cans there. Should the door be locked just leave them outside and we will set them in. Please remember to remove all caps and corks, and separate the glass from all other returns.

Thanks also to James Friesen, Dick Huynink, and Richard Back for their volunteer work to sort the recyclables and take them to Sarcan for deposit!  Their help is greatly appreciated!

On behalf of the Aspen Chase 455 Club, thank you for your donation of bottles and cans!

The Aspen Chase 455 Club was initiated 10 years ago for the purpose of enhancing our lovely pool area.  Through fundraising over these past 10 years, we have been able to purchase many attractive and functional furnishings for the enjoyment of our residents and guests!

The Aspen Chase 455 Club continues to function as an informal volunteer group of owners/residents, who meet during the summer months to socialize and consider ways and means to enhance our pool area.  New members are always welcome to join the 455 Club.

Our primary source of income for the purchases made has been from the generous donations by owners/residents of bottles, cans, and other recyclables.  Thanks for your ongoing donation of these recyclables, which can be left at the work shed. And, finally, another thank you to those Aspen Chase volunteers who sort through the bags and boxes, and deliver them to Sarcan for processing.
